Proposed AMVETS Display and Recuitment Booth

The Post is putting together a display booth which will include a tent, tables, and recruiting literature to be used at multiple events such as Milford Memories, veteran’s functions, and other community events.

The purpose is to recruit new members, and solicit donations by the handing out of White Clovers. The White Clover program is sponsored by the National AMVETS Organization. A White Clover is symbolic to AMVETS, as the Red Poppy is to the American Legion.

Pictured below are photos of a typical AMVETS booth setup. Through the efforts of Bill Brown, Les Wolfe and others, the Post is in the process of putting together this type of portable booth display.
